Sage Green Earrings, Lacy Beadwork, Red Jasper Gemstones, Sterling Silver

Delicate gold and sage green beads surround gorgeous red jasper in these elegant earrings.

 

Using a palette of subtle earth tones, I created these delicate, dangling earrings by weaving a matte gold bezel in tiny delica beads around red jasper stones. These gorgeous jasper stones have tones from terra cotta to brick, which I contrasted with the silvery green matte sage beadwork around the edge. The settings for these earrings were created using a combination of off loom beadweaving and bead embroidery. Each bead is woven in or sewn in by hand, with multiple passes of thread through each tiny seed bead.

 

I wove in small closed sterling silver rings into the outer edge of the beadwork and hung these delicate pendants from beautiful sterling silver ear wires. The backs of the earrings are finished off with soft tan ultra suede.
