It's not surprising that we all yearn for the past as we humans are sentmental creatures and I don't suppose I'm much different. Looking back childhood was quite difficult as we had an often volatile argumentative homelife and I honestly didn't know what I wanted in life except perhaps daydreams of being something great lol. As a teen only a few things interested me and they were largely buses and girls so nothing has changed much really. But what kept me going was my love of buses getting out and seeing them and when I look back at the past that is what I remember the most fusing events together and probably why I still cling tightly to them even though my interest has faded. When I was sent to school in Switzerland I was lucky enough for our building Clairmont to be right next to the Post Office with it's attached very small PTT Post Bus Garage. As usual they were busy digging up the road in this view as a blue and silver MAN tipper of Bonzon rumbled by kicking up the dust and because of the roadworks R&J 1950 Saurer L4C P23061 has to manouver across the carriageway before being able to head off on the service down to Ollon in the valley below. If one wandered across to the other side of the building here at Aiglon College there was a grand view looking across the Rhone Valley to Mont Blanc and the snow-capped French Alps.... Heaven!
