Red For Danger

Some people hate the colour red but I love it as it's full of energy and life and it excites me. So it's a good colour for Jojo to wear as well as I like to stand out and be noticed, I like making bold statements. Another reason why I like wearing it so much is because when I was a child and teenager we didn't have young fashion then and Mother bought all my clothes and looking back I hated them really, all sensible browns and dark dull greens. I wanted to be James Bond, Picasso or Superman. It didn't get much better as an adult because I've never been interested in trying to look smart as a male and it didn't make me feel any better because I didn't fancy myself dressed, but getting to the bit which might interest you more smooth and naked yes. I've regularly tell you that I never cross-dressed, wore make-up or anything like that, it's not me, but I was aware of how feminine my body was and at the age of about thirteen I had a brief fetish about white briefs and bikinis in general because I suppose they said something to me about androgyny and gender which was a turn-on. When later in life i finally decided to try being Jojo some of the time, it was like a switch had been flicked or a door had been opened as suddenly I could start to see things differently I was a lot more free. It was a bit of a dare at first which meant even from day one I just went out as Jojo if I felt like it, tried to avoid some yet slowly telling others what I've done hoping they will approve. But I live in a town where people don't bother you much and apart from the odd rude gobby student group or pipping 'white van man' people tended to leave me alone. But the best opening was in the fabulous world of charity shops and clothes for whereas for Christopher a shirt was a shirt for Jojo everything was different and there was always something for me on the rail and better still from day one I knew what suited me. Not only that there was something for every occasion and every mood and as you can see I've cultivated it to the point where I don't have to say anything. Oh yes I'm a lot more confident too, this picture says "Come here."
