Wrong Side of the Tracks
Girls are much more lucky finding themselves than young guys as there is much more tolerence and fluidity to sexualty and they can walk arm in arm and even kiss or hold hands in public and people won't just think they are hard-core lesbians just pals. Even if they did get up to sexual mischief together it's seen as probably just a hormonal phase they are going through. There are always one or two extrovert larger than life people who can get away with being a bit camp or fem and especially if like students they are able to mix with like-minded people but for most guys it's a lot more difficult as other men are very unforgiving if one strays from the sexual straight and narrow and there is little room for self-expression. Of course just being gay isn't frowned upon any more as other men now realise they are not going to be approached and they are safe lol. But we trans girls are something else as we are outsiders and have three basic options and that is to dress indoors and keep it secret, try to be as convincing as possible and try not to be too noticed and the other is to 'not give a fuck' and please yourself. I guess Jojo is all three at times for even though I don't keep what I am secret there are things I can only wear indoors. However I don't think it's really me copping out as wearing this to go to the supermarket would just get me stared at and to be trans in the community we have to fit in as best we can. Having said that when I do decide to be a bit more brave when I go out in the day showing a bit more flesh I don't seem to get any grief just more smiles. That is a bit surprising so perhaps some people like it because it's refreshing, but it must also mean I now have the right body-language so others won't question it. That must make it sound very cosy but of course some might think it's great but to others I'm just a tranny. Oh well I've gone passed worrying about that now and besides it's rather nice being a wrong one and a bit cocky.
