"Unconditional Love" (An Occassionally Updated Photo-Blog!)
Happy Writer's Wednessday, very early!
The topic? Unconditional love . . . they say one should write about what they know.
The challenge here (as you can see from the writing in the photo) is to sit down and begin to write about a topic so big that one cannot get their arms around it. Unconditional love is PERFECT for this assignment.
Plus, I have gladly accepted this challenge.
As the instructions say, once you accept the challenge, trust The Muse to support you. True to this, as soon as I committed to this topic, I began to get email with personal stories of unconditonal love and the sender had no idea that I had just made this commitment!
Julia Cameron would be applauding, I am sure, while whispering, "Synchronicity, my dear . . . "
As for me, I do not claim to love perfectly, though I have made it a goal of my life to be loving. The topic of unconditional love, however, forces one to stop and examine carefully their motives for loving. Try it! You may find yourself surprised and enlightened.
So I claim only to be a mere student of love, who will still be learning about the topic for the rest of my days. However, I do also surround myself with some wonderful role models from which to take notes.
Have a great "Writer's Wednesday",

[I uploaded this on January 27th, but am not displaying it until time for "Writer's Wednesday" in case you are trying to make sense of the dates/views/etc...I know, very confusing!)
If you have stories of or examples of inspiring "unconditional love", I would like it so much if you would share it in comments or by sending me Flickrmail. (I realize that some stories of unconditional love are just to private to write into the comments.)
Thanks for your help.
Happy writing, all.
