This is the daughter of a friend, a beautiful young girl...... and this is - at least for the moment - my favorite picture of her.
Always reminds me a bit of "the girl with the pearl earring", painted by Jan Vermeer van Delft - dont know why, because at the original paint the girl is looking the other way and is much more fair-haired.
