Lifeguard Tournament 8-1-17

During a rescue boat relay race, this boat goes nearly vertical in the shore break.

 

In lifeguard tournaments, guards from shore towns compete against each other in a series of lifeguard related events. The most hazardous is the lifeboat relay race, as the boats are very difficult to control in even moderate surf.
