1.The story behind this image is that someone came to this area and wanted to bury this doll. You can assume it is someone over or around the age of 18 because of the cigarette they left behind.

2.It’s a dirty shot which most likely would appeal to grungy people and the yellowish treatment gives it a feel that it was taken a while back.

3.The old fashioned feel helps add texture to the already grimey photo and a sense of the past.

4.The lines of the old bike tires lead your eye to the baby. The baby’s arm also guides you to the cigarette butt.

5.A. Beyond the photo was a lot of garbage and random objects you might find at a ratpacking hick’s house. Tires, car parts, and a cabin were the main objects you noticed right away behind the shot.

B. The missing elements would supply helpful hints as to where this shot may be, but not exactly to get the point across that someone wanted this baby buried.

C. I feel that if I left the other elements outside of the shot in the shot, then it would have cluttered the shot and perhaps even taken away the main focus of the piece.

6. A. I feel that the flow of the elements gives the photo a good feeling of

balance.

B. It supports the visual weight of the photograph.
