comic relief: a much needed cure
The only time that Prem seperated his butt from the comfortable leather two-seater couch in the control room was when he had the spontanious idea to run out to the scenic backdrop outside the studio to capture an overused album cover idea that only a Christian rock band could pull off.
We looked out the window and errupted in bowel-shaking laughter. His cheeseball rockstar stance is prominent in 80s glam rock videos but never really noticed in today's mainstream music.
The studio can bring out the most nasty side of band members because recording can be a tedious and arduous task--weighing heavy on one's mental stability. Laughing at your bass player making himself look ridiculous on top of a mountain was the only thing that can fire up the energy needed to move forward.
