268: Ode To The Q-Tip
I've never been a real user of Q-Tips. Maybe it's because I dislike products that seemed to be marketed and made to clean ears, that explicitly warn "Not To Use In Ears!" Or maybe it's the who idea of a swab.. that word just has clinical and painful connotations. However, I now find myself surrounded by these little cotton-balls on on a stick. My daughter seems to use them for everything. They're kind of her version of the "Windex" fix-all from "My Big Fat Greek Wedding". I find them everywhere, like little pale soldiers lost on the battlefield. I've seen our kitty Amie running down the hall with Q-Tips in her mouth, acting like she just killed a bird. So, use them or not, I have to accept the fact that Q-Tips are part of my life.
