ADDITIONAL NOTES.
When is an internal user tank wagon not a tank wagon.... when its on a Lowmac of course !
This cobbled together vehicle has an LMSR 25t capacity Trolley Flat Wagon fitted with a 22 ton capacity former TRO tank barrel on its original underframe. The LMSR designed Implement Truck as they were titled was from a batch built by the LNER to LMSR lot no.1342 from diagram 54A, they were later coded "Lowmac MO" by British Rail after nationalisation and had running numbers M 700700 to M 700729. The origin of the wagon mounted on the Lowmac is unknown but I very much suspect its a redundant departmental tank from the assortment of secondhand tanks in the low numbers of the DB 9990xx number range. It's use at Three Bridges Pre Assembly Depot was as a mobile fuelling facility for on track plant within the depot.
