ADDITIONAL NOTES.

As mentioned in the details for the previous upload by the latter part of the 1950's BR switched the production of the standard 'Grampus' wagon to an improved specification with Hybox bearings and vacuum train brakes. 722 of this type being built to diagram no. 1/574 between 1958-61. Although the Hybox bearing were gradually replaced over the years these later vehicles gained instead roller bearings as depicted by DB 991673 above. Being the younger vehicles too also meant more survived later in traffic to carry CCE 'Dutch' livery of grey and yellow.
