20 183 and 20 169 sit on Buxton depot after doing battle with the white stuff in the Derbyshire hills. 20 183 came out of service in January 1987 to store and never worked again instead being taken by road from Stanton Gate Yard near Toton to Vic Berry's and was put to the torch in March 1990. 20 169 has proved to be a bit luckier than its sister and has survived into Preservation at the Stainmore project, Kirkby Stephen.
