Baby Alco getting some stick in notch 8.

Taken : 23.02.1995.

Metre gauge Alco type DL537 no.A9103 belonging to the Greek National Railways (OSE) storms through Argos with the heavily laden oil train that ran from the refineries on the northern outskirts of Athens near Aspropyrgos to Tripoli. The thrash from these locos was something to behold as they climbed from the coastal region of the Plain of Argolis to the mountainous Arkadia region on the Plain of Teya. By the early 1990's the line beyond Tripoli was barred to locos through the Kalogerikou Pass because of a weak viaduct, damaged I believe by an earthquake.
