De-icing sisters 010 and 011 at Selhurst TMD. 21/02/2002.
Before Railtrack Plc opted for modern track machine based MPV's (Multi-Purpose Vehicles) to lay sandite and de-icing fluid on the former BR Southern Region Railtrack Plc inherited the 11 former class 405 4-SUB conversion class 930/0 units. Carrying the second Railtrack livery of green and blue are sets 930 010 and 930 011 stood infront of the Heavy Repair shed at Selhurst Depot. Set 930 011 was Selhurst allocated so at its home depot but sister unit 930 010 alongside was Brighton allocated at the time. in 2002 the former South Central Division had four of these class 930/0 sets while the South Eastern and South Western divisions had three each with one spare set kept at Chart Leacon Works.
