Sandite/De-icer set 930 008 (vehicles ADB 975596+ADB 975597) stands on the washer bypass line in Ashford Down Carriage Sidings. 11 2-car sets of these former 4-SUB (class 405) motor coaches were converted between 1977 and 1982 as sandite and deicing units with one coach used for either product. Set 008 was rebuilt from cars S10844 from set 4385 and S10987 from set 4124.
