can you see the cover of the new Owen album, GHOST TOWN in here? How about the picture of earth, as seen from space? Or the cover of the latest of Montreal CD, PARALYTIC STALKS? Can you pick out the photo-artwork by NYC artist Mike Jenkins? Of course, you can't miss the logo for the now-defunct Burroughs Co. -they made computers in the early 80s, when Apple IIe was hot, Commodore 64s were around, Also - this was way before Microsoft came out with the 1st Windows. The only O/s was MSDOS. But I put it up there because the company got its start way back in the late 1800s when William S. Burroughs, the great writer (NAKED LUNCH, INTERZONE, SOFT MACHINE, WILD BOYS, EXTERMINATOR!, etc) happened to be related to the Burroughs's of St. Louis, a well-to-do family, who got their money from an elder Mr. Burroughs who invented the adding machine!!!
