This is styrene stretched to its limit creating thin thread like pieces. It was hard to create these as each piece of plastic would only stretch so far before it came too brittle.
Thats another interesting thing about these pieces, they became delicate and brittle which is the complete opposite of the original strong and thick styrene plastic.
In this photo I wanted to capture the crazyness and business of the threads and how they naturally lie ontop of eachother and create this new surface from the originally boring styrene.
