Once upon a time, there was a rice cooker. It traveled halfway across the world in a big dark box until one day when a person in a red shirt took it out of the box and put it on a shelf. The bright lights and shiny white floor surprised the rice cooker. While it sat on the shelf, it heard undisciplined children cry and scream. Adults passed over the rice cooker to look at the other appliances at the other end of the aisle. Sometimes, it saw teenagers steal CDs.
After a while, another person in a red shirt came along and put an orange sticker with number on the rice cooker. A few days later, there was a new sticker. A young lady came along and looked at the rice cooker. Observing that there was no instruction manual, the young lady was reluctant to buy it. Her mother said, “You could find directions on the internet.” With this thought, the young lady decided to buy the appliance.
When the rice cooker was leaving the store, the new owner was delighted to find that her purchase was 75% off, instead of 50%. The rice cooker was put in a red and white bag while it traveled to its new home.
And the rice cooker lived happily ever after. The end.
