As we were driving out of Eureka, we stopped to take in this view of the valley looking back towards Silverton. You can see one of the old homes at the mine in the bottom right-hand corner of the picture. We continued on the drive up to Cinnamon Pass on the Alpine Loop Trail. The trail has amazing views like this one all along the roadway. We didn't need the four-wheel drive too much, mostly on the downhill side of the trip. I'm hoping to get back up there again soon.
