Yankee Basin Waterfall, Colorado
We drove up Yankee Basin out of Ouray and stopped to take pictures of the waterfalls and wildflowers in this area. The views were beautiful and stunning everywhere you turned. I walked down to where the waterfalls were on the stream and took some different perspectives of them.
When I came up here about 40 years ago with my family, we were told that these waterfalls were used in the Coors commercials. I was hoping to find them again on this trip and here it is. The problem is when I went online to research the exact location of the falls, the articles said it wasn't here. Oh well, it still was an amazing location, and a lot of fun to shoot.
