Fresno Dome
As I was driving around outside of Bass Lake, I took a side trip to the Kelty Meadow Campground. I saw some snow on the ground in the shadows and thought that might make a nice landscape with the meadow in the background. One of the shots I was trying to take was this dome feature. When I was walking around the campground trying to find a good view, I came to this location and was surprised to get such a good view of the Fresno Dome. Of course, I broke out the camera and starting clicking different framing of this landmark. This was my favorite of the day.
The Kelty Meadow Campground is unique in that it was designed for camping with horses. They have hitching posts and fencing around the campgrounds to keep the horses close to camp. There even was a large watering trough for the horses. It's a pretty cool campground.
