Merced National Wildlife Refuge Sunset

This is one of my favorite locations to capture sunsets. The refuge is close to the coastal range and it usually has great clouds even when the rest of the Central Valley is clear. During this trip, I got the great clouds, but I didn't get the color that I normally get here. They close the gate into the refuge after sunset and I waited until the last seconds hoping for the perfect color. This was the best that I got on this trip.
