Merced National Wildlife Refuge

This wildlife refuge has the best sunsets. If you can believe it, there was very little editing on this picture. I sharpened the details, but I was trying to tone down the colors. I think the air pollution in the San Juaquin Valley adds to the colors. I remember when I was taking these pictures most of the people were trying to get a picture of a great horned owl in a tree. I thought it was too dark for that and this view was amazing.
