Eastern Sierras Snowpack

This was taken last year during a trip for Spring Break. The amount of snow in the mountains was pretty amazing last year. We stayed in Lone Pine and drove out of town towards the Alabama Hills. This was the view that greeted us when we arrived in the area. It was an amazing sight.

 

With the rain that we are getting right now, there is a good chance that I will get this view when I explore the area this year. With a little luck, we may get some wild flowers also.
