Carrizo Plain N. M.
As I was driving across the valley to the Eastern side of Carrizo Plain I saw a group of people taking pictures of themselves with the flowers in this area. The flowers were really dense in the area and I saw this group of women setting up to take a group photo. I thought this would be a great frame from this awesome view.
Little did I realize that they were going to throw their sun bonnets into the air. When I saw them do this, I waited until they did take two and then take three. This was my best capture of the day. I loved watching them have so much fun together trying to set up this shot. They were a group of Chinese women and I couldn't understand what they were saying, but I could relate to all the laughter they had together.
I teach and I always tell my kids to have adventures and have fun. It was awesome to see so many people coming to this out of the way location and doing just that. Happy clicking!
