This was taken on a photo trip a couple of years ago with a friend of mine and his son. There were a lot of people enjoying the beach area here and I wanted to capture the view with one the Monterey pines that are prevalent here. This wasn't the best subject, but there weren't any people with cell phones taking selfies here so I took what I could get. We continued down the road into the Big Sur area and the search for more photo ops.
