Copper River Alaska

This picture was taken from a vista point near Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. This road leads to the southern entrance to the park and it ends at the Kennecott Mine. The brown color in the water comes from melting glaciers that feed the rivers. We continued driving and saw an area on the river where there were a dozen fish wheels sitting on the bank. It is an interesting area to visit with a lot of history.
