Buckets
I really liked the grain and weathered look of these buckets on the waterwheel that I shot. I took this hoping to get a closer look and bring out more of the detail in the wood. The black and white made the grain pop even more. Hope you enjoy it as much as I had taking it.
The owner of the waterwheel allowed us to go on his property to shoot it. We found out from visiting with him that he had made these by hand himself. The waterwheel is next to a gully at the base of a hill. This part of California doesn't get much water so he hooked up a water source that he could turn on to make the waterwheel move. It looked pretty ingenious to me.
