Spring Purple Wildflower
This was shot in the Sierra foothills outside of Fresno. I was trying out a new Canon Closeup lens after an epic failed attempt on the previous day. I found out from my mentor that I was too far away from my target to focus properly with the lens. (Thanks Dad!) I went back with a renewed determination to get some close up shots with the lens. This was one of my better attempts. Hopefully I'll get better and more will follow. Any help with the name of the flower would be appreciated.
