El Capitan, Yosemite National Park

This time of year is great to get reflection shots off the Merced River. The water flow is really slow and you get almost no ripples off the water on windless days. There was still a little snow left on the ground from the last snowfall, but it wasn't too cold of a day.

There were two climbers on El Capitan trying to free climb to the top of this giant granite cliff. (No Ropes!!!) They are half way and have been at it for almost three weeks. It just makes me queasy thinking about even looking down from the 3,000 foot wall, let alone climb it. I like the view from here just fine. :)
