A class 108 dmu arrives at Manchester Oxford Road station forming a service from Chester via Altrincham.
Apparently the former MSJ&A grade 2 listed viaduct upon which the station is built is rather weak so, to reduce weight, a great deal of laminated timber was used in the construction when the station was rebuilt in the form seen here in 1960.
