Batuwangala Maha Vidyalaya conducted a pirith Chanting inside the school for blessing the GCE OL Students with their forth coming Examination.This was proposed and seconded at the e-kids society.Parents of grade 11 were all there and they build a nice "pirith kotuwa" for the Ceremony.Ven.Mawanane Amarawansa,The chief Buddhist monk of the area gave his fullest support to the Function.We started the event by in housing the relic by 8.30pm on 27th of October 2009.This Pirith chanting ceremony was lively web cased by the evillage students of Batuwangala evillage.

Sudath Withanachi,Vice principal of BMV in housed the relic.Then 12 of budhist monks strted the activity.First the Chief monk Ven.Mawanane Amarawansa Gave a Patronage speech and he blessed our Teachers for the idea of having this kind of activity inside the school.

 

The Students of Grade 11,their parents,The GCE OL students of naighbouring schools were sat inside of the main hall.Parents of Grade 11 Students had organized the refreshments while the pirith Chanting.

 

The chanting of pirith was concluded by the very morning of the following day and the students were blessed By the Pariwenadhipathi,Ven.Denagama Lankananda thero.

Then the parents got ready for the Arms giving in the morning and 12 of monks were participated for the event.Ven.Mawanane Amarawansa blessed the children with al the best for their examination and adviced that keep working hard as so far they have done and this kind of event blesses those who do not give up and try hard.

Finally the relic was out housed and the pirith Chanting was ceremonially Concluded by the 7am of 28th of october 2009.We would like to thank every one who helped us with this event.Speacially with to the parents and Villagers who gave their maximum support.We also aim to to this next year also and we believe this kind of event do help to strengthen the morality of students to face the examination.
