Notice how Bobbert has his ears back like this? When he was but a wee lad, this was his milk concentration pose. Ears back and out of the way. You can see the muscles in his "shoulders" tensed up as he balances on his hind legs in order to dig more. He hasn't gotten through the glass just yet, but he has perseverance, and is hoping to accomplish his goal one day.
