In preparation for the arrival of Arriva Yorkshire's new buses in the winter of 2011 many buses are losing their route branding as seen here. Arriva Yorkshire West 1106 is one of a batch of Wright Eclipse Urban bodied Volvo B7RLE's which are in the process of losing their 254/255 branding. This route has been strongly rumoured to be one of the likely recipients of the influx of Gemini integrals so this view of this type of bus leaving Halifax bus station may not be available much longer. This batch of buses is also the last complete batch in Yorkshire to still wear the old Arriva livery, maybe these will be repainted before they move on to new duties.
