Rokinon 7.5mm Test
by TerryDarc
Quick walking tour 1/2 hour after opening the box with my new Rokinon 7.5mm f3.5 fisheye lens attached to Panasonic M43 (Micro four thirds) G5 camera.
I might have paid more attention to the exposure and focus than I did but I really wanted to see the perspective. Camera set to aperture preferred and shoot without lens.
Focus seems to be sharp except for the close work (black cat shot at under 1 foot, e.g.) and side to side focus seems good.
Editing limited to setting levels with histogram in PSE 11, a couple unsharp mask on the cat but NO cropping. Perspective is a bit odd off to the side but the big hotel building (perspective corrected) seems pretty decent looking. This is a 100' tall or so building shot from 40' away and then 20' in the second shot. Pretty fair!
