Stapleton Road says: Thomas created a masterpiece with this night time shot. St Vincent looks enormous and the body side reflects the light beautifully. The distant station and signal lights create a really atmospheric shot that mediatly caught my eye.

Stapleton Road says: I discovered this shot earlier this year its one of the things I love about Flickr, there is always a gem still to be discovered. I started spotting in 73 and lived in the West Country. I witnessed the demise of the hydraulics and te reign of the Class 50s How I wish I had ridden behind a pair of 50s from Crewe to Glasgow. Stuning archive shot.

Stapleton Road says: David has a style that makes his work instantly recognisable. This shot is no different. I love the way it's stacked up to show the heat haze. It's also a different angle of Wrawby Junction. Sadly the semaphores are all gone.

Stapleton Road says: Posing or not it doesn't matter, how much atmosphere can one person get into a shot ? This should be a painting and it would defiantly be hanging over my fireplace.

Stapleton Road says: I discovered Pats work a few weeks ago and have become an instant fan. She has an amazing eye backed up with a cracking technical ability. Her site has a diverse range of really interesting shots. This is typical of her attention and eye for detail and beauty within.
