Hudsonia ericoides (Northerrn golden heather)

Took these in a downpour under an umbrella, because I wasn't sure when I'd catch them in flower again. An unusual species in South Carolina, known otherwise as far south as Maryland and Delaware. Cheraw State Park, Chesterfield County, South Carolina
