Apostle Islands, 2013

A paddle during fall to Sand Island to visit the water caves. In late afternoon, with winds near calm, a strange storm of amazing clouds slowly approached. I arrived back a bit after sunset, and within half an hour, it had started to rain. At first the rain was light, but then it became heavy, and rained all night.
