The leukemia patients will to survive can be very faint but if the child decided to pick up a paintbrush and choose the color and choose the animal and choose the expression their desire to live increased, thus increasing their chance to survive. A medical team member cannot make any of these decisions for the child. It is deciding to decide that gives life meaning.
