Waterfall of a Welsh Princess - Sgwd Gwladus
Legend has it that Gwladus, the daughter of Brychan, the 5th century Welsh king of Brychieniog, fell in love with a man named Einon. Although she could never be with him in life, their spirits still flow together for all eternity, merging in the pools of their respective waterfalls which are several hundred metres apart - Sgwd Gwladus and Sgwd Einon Gam.
Sgwd Gwladus is also known as Sgwd Gwladys and Lady Falls.
The waterfalls are in the Nedd Valley in the region of Ysradfellte at the heart of the Brecon Beacons.
