OLD MOSSY OAK.

a very old stunted moss covered sessile oak tree, (quercus petraea) this tree is very old but stunted with no upright trunk, but it's limbs reach up quite tall. due to it's location and hight, on jenny nobles walk, this is real adder habitat-caution when walking. part of the langholm's walks. whita hill, langholm, dumfries and galloway, scotland. view large
