November sail- Round Bay on the Severn River

This is a wide part of the river about three miles upstream from Annapolis. Just a short voyage from our marina.

 

Two sailboats shared the river with us. I kept a wary eye on them to ensure they were not sailing faster. The unspoken code among sailors is that you shall not be passed by an equal or smaller length sailboat. Given an opportunity to overtake another sailboat, you have a moral obligation to do so.
