Much to smile about

Near 70 degrees, nice breeze and not a cloud in the sky. This is as good as it gets on a November 8th in Maryland.

 

This weather, along with a captain who doesn't flog the crew except for serious infractions (taking my strawberries) make for a great sail for all hands.

 

After each sail on a November day, I ask "Is this the last sail of the year" since I know that the weather window is closing. Nine days ago we had snow.
