Micro-balloon fairing has grip

I was concerned that removal of the hot glued wood blocks that held the rail aligned would rip off some fairing compound. In all cases, the surface of the wood block was ripped off and no fairing compound was removed. On this block I used way too much hot glue.

 

I am impressed with the grip of the micro-balloon fairing compound. The wood blocks were knocked off with a hammer whack on the side. In this sheer situation the fairing compound held its ground..
