The first lamination session
I was worried about my clamps holding a 2' thick stack of strips and my speed working alone in getting the thickened epoxy spread. Consequently, I did two laminating sessions over two days each one dealing with a 1" stack of strips.
Before putting glue to the strips, I screwed down wood blocks positioned about 1 1/4" from the form to hold strips in their approximate positions until I got the clamps installed. Without these blocks, I could not have controlled the highly loaded strips by myself and probably would have been whipped to death via a Bonzia strip.
