Transom installed.

The plank positioned just forward of the installed transom held the aft topsides together to their prescribed width. The plank in the foreground established tumblehome.

Problem-- When I released the cargo tie down strap and removed the top 2x4, the sheer line spread about an inch beyond its prescribed width. Did I crank down on the transom too hard to recover spring back? Perhaps less pressure and/or having the 2x4 pull in the topsides an inch or so less than their prescribed width before marking, cutting and installating the transom is an answer?

I am very pleased with the tumblehome appearance of the tansom. I have added the transom installation process to the list of tasks that I wasted time ruminating over as it turned out a fairly enjoyable process.
