V-berth...fun to look at but hard work.
I made the v-berth sole out of one piece of plywood which got complicated in regards to proper fitting to the hull and bulkheads. I was dilligent in ensuring passage ways for bildge water to pass through under this sole. For whatever reason, my brain went into meltdown fitting this piece and too many hours were expended. Since this sole will be covered by either carpet or teak/holly veneered plywood, why not make the sole out of two pieces of plywood to make the fitting so much easier? What, another example of my unique ability to find the more difficult solution to a simple problem.
