Father and son installing supports
The temporary wood supports are held in place with drywall screws. These supports help align the 9mm topside panels to the 12mm bottom panels. A temporary drywall screw was inserted through a wood washer and then through a pilot hole in the topside panel. This screw is then driven into each of these temporary supports until the exterior topside and bottom panel edges were flush. After the inside topside/bottom seam is tabbed (spot welded) with thickened epoxy, the supports are then removed so the inside seam can be glassed.
