Laminated birch stools by Marke Niskala
Laminated birch stools designed by Marke Niskala, graduate of the Finnish Arts and Crafts Institute, 1953. The stool was sold in its three constituent parts for ease of packing. It locks together firmly, even without the tongues being glued.
Shown at the 'Modern Art in Finland' exhibition which toured Great Britain in 1954 after a first showing in Scotland.
